The Canbat CLI200-12LT is a 12V 200Ah lithium battery specifically designed for cold temperatures. The Battery features advanced LiFePO4 technology and M8 terminals. It can be charged at temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F). Our advanced temperature control feature draws only 120W of power from the charger and so no additional components are needed for your system. The Canbat CLI200-12LT is a UL certified 12V 200Ah cold weather LiFePO4 battery. This 12V 200Ah lithium battery can be connected in parallel up to 4 units of the same model to create a 12V 400Ah,12V 600Ah, or even 12V 800Ah battery. It Can also be connected in series up to 4 units of the same model to create a 24V 200Ah, 36V 200Ah, or even 48V 200Ah battery.
In cold temperatures, the BMS ( battery management system) disconnects from the cells to protect your battery. Prior to charging, the built-in heating systems draw power from the charger in order to heat up the battery.
The battery is made for use in all deep cycle applications such as off-grid solar, RV, marine, camping, and backup power systems. This 12V 200Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery can also be used to replace standard lead-acid batteries in the use of mobility scooters, UPS system, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and medical devices. They are growing in popularity for military and aerospace applications. The CLI200-12LT battery is engineered with lithium cells offering superior performance and higher reliability as they can be used for power storage solutions or as power sources. Unlike traditional SLA and Gel batteries, they can be fully discharged without loss in longevity. 12V 200Ah lithium batteries are very popular in the solar, RV, and marine markets. They are commonly referred to as:
RV lithium batteries
Marine lithium batteries
Solar lithium batteries
Cold weather lithium battery
Our high-power lithium iron phosphate batteries can withstand up to 2500+ charge cycles at 100% complete discharge and even greater if discharged partially. LiFePO4 cells have the longest shelf life and can be stored for up to 2 years in any state of charge without the worry of degradation. This makes them exceptional for use in seasonal equipment as they do not require maintenance for long periods of time, such as your sailboat.
