RT2-04-MINBUTYL (AlphaSeal™) is a high-performance butyl-based sealing material designed for superior flexibility, durability, and waterproofing. Ideal for Roof Tech’s PV mounting systems, it offers excellent resistance to extreme weather, UV rays, and environmental elements, ensuring long-lasting protection for residential solar installations.

RT2-04-MINBUTYL, also known as AlphaSeal™, is a premium synthetic rubber copolymer sealant composed of isobutylene and isoprene. Developed for Roof Tech’s advanced photovoltaic (PV) mounting systems, it provides unmatched waterproofing and durability.

This versatile material delivers superior resistance to moisture, mildew, UV-induced aging, and temperature extremes, maintaining integrity between -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C). As a key component of Roof Tech’s innovative rail-less systems, RT2-04-MINBUTYL enhances the waterproofing of installations while ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards, including International Code Council (ICC) certifications.

Available in convenient 90mm x 100mm pads, the product is essential for installers seeking reliable, efficient, and long-lasting sealing solutions for residential PV systems.
