Favored by architects and roof designers alike, the cylindrical shapes and sleek design of our metal roof snow fence both complement the roof and seamlessly functions with your standing seam metal roof design. This system in aluminum is suited to zinc, aluminum and coated steel roofs. The brass version is available for use on copper and lead-coated copper roofs.
S-5!’s SnoFence features a two-rail assembly – offering you architectural appeal and durable performance in medium-duty applications.
Looking for a single-rail system for lighter-duty and economy? See SnoRail, X-Gard 1.0, ColorGard.

Aluminum/Stainless SnoFence Components
S-5-ASF™ Clamp
Suitable for most vertical and horizontal standing seam profiles of all metals except copper (rotating the clamp 90° for horizontal seams); seam (thickness) dimension of .40″ or less.
S-5-AE™
Used at a rate of one per 50′ of assembly and at ends of assembly in lieu of ASF clamp to “fix” SnoRod, preventing excessive lateral rod migration.
SnoRod™
⅜” diameter solid stainless steel rod inserted through S-5-ASF clamps just above panel seams for SnoFence. The second SnoRod is positioned 2” above the first by inserting through SnoPosts. Contact your S-5! distributor for pricing and details on stainless steel SnoRod. (Aluminum SnoRod is not recommended).
SnoRod Coupling
Ensures end-to-end rod alignment and continuity while allowing for thermal movement.
SnoClip™
Retards migration of snow and ice beneath crossmembers. Optional with user discretion but recommended on seam heights of 2” and greater. SnoClip is assembled to crossmember during installation.
This component is available in two sizes to accommodate various seam-height dimensions.
SnoPost™
The stainless SnoPost threads into the S-5-ASF clamp and provides for the addition of a second SnoRod about 2” above the first.
SnoPost E™
Used with the S-5-AE clamp to keep the upper SnoRod of the assembly locked into place.
Used at a rate of one per 50′ of assembly and at ends of assembly to “fix” SnoRod, preventing excessive lateral rod migration.
