Multiple Applications
VersaGard is named as such because it offers solutions for both snow retention and PV installation on exposed-fastened metal roofs. For PV applications, see VersaGard™ (solar) bracket.
Snow Retention: Choose VersaGard if you are searching for a two-pipe, snow guard system on trapezoidal, exposed- fastened metal roofing. Reduce the risks associated with rooftop avalanches and reduce the need for snow removal maintenance.
Note: When used with snow retention, VersaGard is the product of choice when rib height is 1.0″ or below.
When rib height exceeds 1.5,” use VersaGard V for rib heights up to 2.0”.

VersaGard Bracket
Circular holes in bracket support 1” pipes.
Diagonal slot offers flexible support for PV installations.
VersaGard V
For rib heights greater than 1.5” up to 2.0”. Location of lower hole in bracket is higher. No slot; not for use with solar PV applications.
DualPipe™ for VersaGard
1” diameter 6,000 series aluminum pipe crossmember with ⅛” wall.
DualPipe comes with DualGard Splice.
Installs in 8′ lengths.
DualClip™ for VersaGard
Retards migration of snow and ice beneath crossmembers. Optional with user discretion but recommended on seam heights of 2” and greater. DualClip is assembled to crossmember during or following system installation.
This component is available in two sizes to accommodate various seam-height dimensions.
DualGard™ Splice for VersaGard
Connects adjacent 1” pipes for continuity. Splice automatically provides for thermal linear expansion and contraction of the VersaGard assembly.
DualGard Splice comes with DualPipe.
DualCollar™ for VersaGard
Installed on DualPipe at the ends of an assembly, locking DualPipe in place to prevent lateral shifting.
DualGard Endcaps for VersaGard
Endcaps keep rain, dirt or debris out of the pipes.
